What you need to know about breast reduction / lift:
During the consultation, you will be able discuss your desired outcome in detail with me so that i can fully understand your expectations of surgery. I will examine your breasts and other various factors involved with the breast reduction procedure, which will help me determine which options will provide you with the best results possible.
Depending on the extent of the reduction and lift needed, there are three different options for incision placement: Periareolar Incision: a circular pattern around the areola, Keyhole Incision: around the areola with two incisions vertically down to the breast crease, Anchor Incision: around the areola, vertically down to the breast crease, and horizontally across the inframammary fold. Breast implants may also be used in conjunction with this procedure to achieve the desired result.
During your Breast reduction and lift surgery, the breast tissue is lifted, reshaped, and held in place with sutures. Excess tissue and skin are removed, and the incisions are brought together to produce a smaller breast. Liposuction may also be used in conjunction with this procedure to remove tissue from the sides of the breasts. In some cases, liposuction may be used as the sole method for scarless breast reduction if excess skin does not need to be removed.
A breast reduction may involve nipple and areola repositioning to a higher location if skin above the nipple is reduced. In cases of extremely large breasts, the nipple and areola may need to be transferred as a skin graft to the new position. In addition, if a nipple reduction is also desired, excess skin at the perimeter of the areola may be excised.

Post Op instructions after breast implants
After a breast reduction and lift procedure, the resulting smaller, more youthful breasts are visible immediately and will become more apparent as swelling and bruising subside. Breast reduction scars will be noticeable at first, but they will fade over time. You will experience a boost in self-confidence knowing that your breasts are elevated and more in proportion with the rest of your body.
My medical team will provide you a detailed post op instructions sheet and will be available for any query you might have afterwards.
